A circular walk by the River Gelt

This walk was found in a book from the Carlisle TIC. It was one of the first walks I did with Sweep when we first came to live in Carlisle. The section by Brampton Quarries is spectacular. One can understand why the Romans liked it!
The section through Priest's Wood is an old drovers' road used by the Border Reivers.
